Catching Up On Stuff
20/6/22 11:55Finally, Steve and I have a day at home. No appointments, no therapies and we have a four week break from our volunteering. The Tai Chi teacher likes to take a long break so she can rest and relax. I am worried about how many of the clients will come back. I bumped into one when we were out shopping and she told me she was thinking of selling her house and moving out of the area so she could be gone as well. I am hoping the organization can attract new clients to the class but we will have to see.
I didn't go to SupaNova this year, they have jacked up the ticket prices and they no longer have the Friday available to go. Also, the hours seem to have been shortened as well. I am going to have to skip Oz ComicCon as well for the same reasons. We are no longer working so I can't justify the cost of the tickets plus food, purchases etc. I would rather just save the money and buy from the comic book stores. Sad but the cost of living is skyrocketing.
Other than this, not much has been happening, I will be going to my granddaughter's second Gala Day so that will be fun. I also promised my daughter that I would take her to Parramatta to Births Deaths And Marriages so she can get her birth certificate. I can do some shopping in there as well, so yay, that is something I am looking forward to.
