The 2nd of November was a busy day. It was my eldest daughter's birthday and Steve and my wedding anniversary. We had a quiet night on Halloween due to the rain. Sadly where we are we don't get many trick-or-treaters as we are in a unit block. It is nice to see in Australia that Halloween is becoming more popular. We did go to the last night of the Halloween Markets and Ghost Forest at The Rocks in Sydney. It was brilliant, the decorations and live music. It was great to see the turnout despite the drizzly rain. Steve and I dressed in steampunk outfits for the occasion. It was a great night and I hope they do it again next year. It was fun spending our anniversary at the Halloween markets this year, Steve had a great time even though he isn't a huge fan of the spooky season. We exchanged presents, I gave Steve a bottle of cologne and he gave me a Batman Ship lamp and a Batman figurine. This is why I love my hubby.

On another note, I had a couple of doctor visits, just the usual stuff and Steve is still continuing his therapies so nothing new there. It has been a great week but tomorrow we are going to resting.

Hope everyone has had a great week.

Steve and I had a quiet Halloween, I spent it eating lollies and watching all my favourite horror movies. I really miss decorating for Halloween. When I was living in a villa, I would do a haunted house, the neighbourhood kids loved it. Being in Australia, Halloween isn't as big here but I have noticed it is becoming more popular, Loving in a unit now, I don't decorate as I no longer have a front yard. I still love seeing other houses done up and seeing the kids dressed up for trick and treating.

On a non Halloween note, it has been a busy week. We drove out to Moorebank to pick up some things to help Steve around the house. The disability store does have a lot of assistive technology to help with tasks like cooking and dressing. After that, we headed to a fashion outlet centre and then home.

It was our anniversary and my eldest daughter's birthday so we had a lot to celebrate. Steve brought me an awesome figurine of L from Deathnote. Steve's present has to be ordered from Amazon so hopefully, he will get it soon. I hope everyone had a great Halloween,

I love Halloween and I am happy that it's starting to take off here in Australia. We never really celebrated it like other countries, but I have noticed that more people are decorating their houses and more kids and their parents are out trick or treating. I used to love decorating my house for Halloween, but now that I am in a unit, I don't have the space outside to do it anymore. My older daughter threw a Halloween party and it was great, we even did a Cold Case Mystery game. Steve and I also babysat my youngest daughter's two younger kids. That was fun but honestly, exhausting.

I hope everyone had a great Halloween, and now Steve and I are preparing for Christmas.

We are going on a short cruise on Saturday, we are traveling on the Carnival ship to Tasmania. I have never been there so I am excited. I just hope it's not too cold.
