Views From The Edge

It has been one hell of a week. First I got a sinus infection, then caught conjunctivitis so I missed my granddaughter's choir concert, then to top things off, I slipped and fell as I was getting out of the bathtub.

Today is Friday the 13th so after everything, I am not leaving the unit. I am not taking any chances, so I am staying home and relaxing.

Steve is spending the day with his support worker Nathan so I have the unit to myself which is nice.

I managed to finish The Passage and now I need to read the second in the trilogy which is The Twelve. The problem is right now I can't see properly, it is like someone has smeared vaseline over my eyes. The doctor has given me some cream and eyedrops so hopefully it will clear up soon.

Well, it's finally happened, Steve and I have the Virus That Will Not Be Named, otherwise the big C as in Covid. We obviously caught it on the ship. Steve isn't too bad but I am feeling pretty crappy. We are both fully immunized so I am hoping we will shake it soon. So right now, we are both taking it easy right now until we are over it.
