We Are Back

Steve and I have just returned from a ten night cruise to the Whitsundays. I love going up north to the tropics and I got to see my sister and brother-in-law as well as my niece up in Cairns. We stopped over at Airlie Beach and Morton Island and it was beautiful. The weather was lovely, although the first night we were delayed by bad weather. Sydney's winter having a final fling now we are in Spring.

As much as we loved the cruise, it's nice to be back. I have never been on a cruise before and I wasn't sure how I would go. I don't normally get motion sick and I was a little worried, but we were both fine.

I am sorry if I have missed any events, birthdays, etc as we had no internet on board. We could have paid for internet but it kept cutting out. There was a young nursing student who had paid for it because she was trying to upload her assignment and it kept dropping out.

I am so glad I got to see my sister and everyone as I haven't seen them since Covid started and my brother-in-law is very ill with liver cancer. One thing I am a little sad about is not seeing my stepson tomorrow. It's Father's Day and I was hoping that we would see him but it looks like he won't be,
