Castle Hill Food Fair

It's been a busy week for us. besides doing the usual shopping and errands, we went out to Castle Hill, which is out west, to the showgrounds for the food fair and carnival they have every year. I haven't been out that way in years, so it was a nice drive out there. The food was incredible, (I have definitely blown my low carb diet,) and the stalls were great, although pricey. There was a stall with beautiful handmade silver jewelry but so expensive. We spent the evening wandering around, trying out various foods, the chocolate cherry Belgian waffle was to die for. We were going to get chocolate-covered strawberries and gelato, but we were absolutely stuffed full so we decided to give it a miss. It was a great night although seating was a bit scarce. The organisers should have put out more tables and chairs but we ended up sitting on a set of outdoor stairs that gave us a great view of the showgrounds.

We also plan to take a trip out to Canberra now that everyone is coming out of lockdown. There are a few shops there we want to visit and it will give the new car a really good run.
