Rainy Day Post

ladymidathIt doesn't really feel like summer at the moment here. It has been cool and rainy for the last couple of days. The night before last we had a huge thunderstorm that lasted for ages. I love thunderstorms, especially at night when I am lying in bed. I was a bit worried about a couple of trees, the wind was so strong, I was worried that they were going to come down. They didn't though, thank goodness.
I spent Wednesday catching up with an old friend I used to work with. We had lunch in the city and visited our old workplace to see a couple of friends that still work there. She also bought a lovely Thin Lizzy lip set for me which was so sweet. I love Thin Lizzy but it's so expensive so I rarely buy it for myself.
Steve and I are going to visit my sister from another mister for a belated Boxing Day lunch. She had to postpone it as they all came down with Covid. They are all negative now though so it's back on. Other than all this, nothing much has been happening. I do hope we get some good weather for our trip to Melbourne next week though.
