Family Visiting

ladymidathMy son, his partner, and my three grandchildren are visiting from New Zealand. I am so happy to see all of them. I have missed them so much. They are here for two weeks and they have been busy doing all the touristy things.
They have been staying with various relatives and will be staying with Steve and myself Monday and Tuesday. They leave on Thursday so I know I will be a mess when they go.
Steve has been going to his physio and I have been trying to rest my knee although it doesn't seem to be getting better. I think I am going to have to have an ultrasound on it to see how much damage I did to it when I got washed over the rock pool wall onto the rocks on the other side. Oh god, the things I do to myself. LOL. Other than this, things have been pretty quiet, Steve and I are headed up north to Kingscliff for a few days so that will be nice. I have started watching the new season of The Mandalorian and Picard. Steve is a bit pissed off that a couple of his favourite channels, National Geographic and Nat Wild are being taken off Fetch because they are going onto the Disney Plus service so we have decided to cancel the Knowledge package and just keep the box and the streaming services we have. I don't watch it so it doesn't bother me. I watch great docos on YouTube.
Well, we have left summer behind and we are now in autumn, I am looking forward to the cooler weather. It was a nice summer, but with so much rain. I will miss swimming at the beach, but we have a great aquatic centre not far away with heated pools so that will be nice, and maybe I won't get hit with a wave and dumped onto rocks. :-)
