ladymidathHappy Easter to everyone who celebrates it. I hope everyone had a lovely time.
Our Easter was a quiet one, we went to Yowie Bay for a picnic on Good Friday, then on Saturday, I went to Gunnamatta Bay for a swim. We are in Autumn now so beach weather is coming to an end. Sunday we just chilled at home.
Sadly we got some bad news, a neighbour of ours who we consider a friend is in hospital in palliative care. He had a fall a few weeks ago and broke his hip. He is in his eighties and pretty frail. He ended up getting sepsis which went to his brain, and then he ended up with Covid on top of it all. Obviously, things are not looking good. I hope he does pull through, but I don't think it will happen. It is so sad as he is a sweet man, his wife has been trying to look after him, but she is in her eighties as well. Steve and I help where we can, that's pretty much all we can do but her adult kids have been great. They are there nearly every day so that is good.
Other than all this, things have been pretty quiet, Steve has gone back to his therapies and I am back at physio.
