A Terrible Week

ladymidathIt has been one hell of a week. First I got a sinus infection, then caught conjunctivitis so I missed my granddaughter's choir concert, then to top things off, I slipped and fell as I was getting out of the bathtub.
Today is Friday the 13th so after everything, I am not leaving the unit. I am not taking any chances, so I am staying home and relaxing.
Steve is spending the day with his support worker Nathan so I have the unit to myself which is nice.
I managed to finish The Passage and now I need to read the second in the trilogy which is The Twelve. The problem is right now I can't see properly, it is like someone has smeared vaseline over my eyes. The doctor has given me some cream and eyedrops so hopefully it will clear up soon.
