ladymidathSteve and I decided to take a break and go to Melbourne. We drove down and stayed for four days. Now that my son has gone to Queensland to start his new job, we decided a break would be nice.
It was cold, but the weather was nice; we didn't get rain until we came to Sydney. I was a bit disappointed that the Victoria Markets were closed for renovations, they are my favourite markets, hopefully they will reopen when we go back there.
The weather here has been freezing cold and wet. Great weather for snuggling under the blankets and catching up on my reading. I finished Stepsister, which was great, and now I am planning on re-reading Rose Madder. Perfect for a rainy day.
