First of all, sadly Richard Matheson passed away. I loved his books and grew up reading them. Plus he penned some of my favourite episodes for The Twilight Zone. Among some the stories he wrote are, I am Legend, Hell House and Duel and The Incredible Shrinking Man.
RIP Richard Matheson, you will be sadly missed.
But on a happier note, my daughter and her fiancee have entered a competition to be among the first same sex couples to married in New Zealand. I just wanted to promote the contest here on my lj as well as on my facebook.

I do hope they win, but what does it say about a country where a loving couple have to leave in order to get married.
