Christmas And A Cyclone
14/12/23 13:51Well, I have finished all my Christmas shopping, the last bits and pieces I will do next week. The truth is, I am not really in the Christmas mood after getting the news about my son's best friend. Steve and I are still going to our youngest daughter's house for Christmas Day, Boxing Day will be at my sister's.
Cyclone Jasper hit Cairns hard. My older sister and her family were not hit too hard. Their electricity is still out. Hopefully, it will get restored soon.
The heat here is cranking up, El Nino is in full swing and we are sweltering. One good thing about living near beaches, we get a nice breeze to cool things down.
