Views From The Edge

It's been pretty busy this week, it started off with me heading out to Fairfield on Tuesday at stupid o'clock in the morning because I had to take two trains to get out there and it was pouring rain. I didn't drive as Steve needed the car and I was only going so I could look after my eleven year old granddaughter. The gentleman who passed away was my daughter's father-in-law, I had never met him but she asked me to be there to take care of her daughter because it might become too much for her. She did pretty well though, she was nervous but stayed calm. She is ADHD and has anxiety so these things can get a bit much for her sometimes.

The next few days have been mostly appointments for Steve and catching up with friends. I have started watching Marvel's Secret Invasion and despite the great cast, I am not sure if I like it. I will keep watching it but I have noticed Marvel is moving in a darker direction. Not that I don't like dark, I love Werewolf By Night but maybe I am used to Marvel's lighter tone. I will see how it goes.

On another note, we went to the doctor the other day, I noticed red patches on my toes, it turns out I have chilblains due to poor circulation and the cold weather. I know it's cold here but that I didn't expect. I have some antibiotics and cream and it seems to be working.

I decided to stay home today and have a break as I have a hectic weekend coming up. Take care everyone and have a great weekend.
